I would like to know if I can use the following howto in order to monitor my XP Thinkpad on Zabbix. Both machines are on the same network and can ping each other so there's no connectivity issue.
The howto http://www.zabbix.com/forum/archive/...php/t-803.html talks about installing the zabbix agent on the network drive. Can I replace the network drive and just put in my TP's HDD? Do I have to share my HDD (like the network drive in the above howto) in order to monitor my TP?
