    Problem with receive items from snmp(Cisco)

    Hi

    I am trying receive items from Cisco and I can't receive any items.
    I have Cisco 1800.
    tcpdump show me:
    zabbix:34326->cisco:161: GetRequest(number) (number with dots)
    cisco:51730->zabbix:162: C=(community) V2Trap(number) (number with dots)=(number) [|snmp]
    zabbix->cisco: ICMP zabbix udp port 162 unreachable, length 187

    That's all what I can see beetwen zabbix and cisco.

    In Configuration->Host I see: Timeout while connecting to [cisco:161]
    What I can do, to it start work?

    Cisco SNMP

    Hi,

    I have the snmp with cisco stuf workin fine.
    I suggest to run from a commandline snmpget or snmpwalk.

    I you can request the expected values, start within zabbix.

    A firewall can stop you, or there is a different communit than 'public'
    setup on the cisco.

      I can receive message using snmpwalk and snmpget, but zabbix doesn't work. Community was changed in cisco, but I changed community in zabbix too. Firewall is turned off on zabbix.
      Could you send me your configuration items which are using to snmp communication. I don't know what is wrong.

        Cisco SNMP

        Are you monitoring another system by snmp?

        Did you compiled zabbix with option --with-net-snmp?

        Sample:
        Type SNMPv1 agent
        Community public
        SNMP OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.57.0
        SNMP port 161
        Type integer 64bit
        key system.cpu.load

        Regards
        Gerald
