Distributed Setup with node summary?

Hi,

i'am new to zabbix, and surprised how good it suets to my possible monitoring setup.
But i have some questions.
I want to build a setup with one master server, these master server shall have 3 or more child nodes. these child nodes shall get 3 or more child nodes.
So the node shall be master and child at the same time.
Is this possible with one zabbix server service?
i don't found a solution for this.
any ideas?

I have not tested the functionality zabbix server master & child at the same time but the manual says it's ok

But i have to say that it is not a good solution to have so much nodes. It is a heavy process and there are sync problem sometimes.

have u looked at the zabbix proxy (new 1.5.x branch) ?

No, i haven't looked at Zabbix Proxy yet. I will do it today...
I think these one Master 3 Child Node idea was wreck...
I think is should one master, and one child per country all other servers in the datacenter shall provide a zabbix server.
but the summary doesn't work.
does anyone really build this?
