Active Directory Security Group

Guys.

Does anyone know if it is possible for Zabbix to monitor for changes to an Active Directory Security group?

Would like to try and capture what the change was e.g someone added a user into the group etc etc

You would need to write a script to get the count of the number of members and run it on one of your windows boxes. Then you can create a trigger to see if the last number matches the current number or not.

If you do this be aware that if you have groups nested you would need to get a list of all the members of the nested groups or be okay with the fact your number may not be accurate.

Well i am now looking at it from a different angle to be honest. When a user to added or removed from a security group then this is recorded in the security event viewer on Windows.

All i need is for Zabbix to be looking out for a certain group and notify me the details so i can see who has been removed or added.
