    Zabbix Proxy

I am new to Zabbix and woking on coming up with a configuration I have a few questions.
    1. Is it still suggested to run the database on a separate server if you plan on using Zabbix Proxy?
    2. When configuring a Zabbix Proxy, do you just install Zabbix a separate server and run the "Proxy" service and do the configuration on the Central server?

    1. It is absolutely fine to run Proxy and its database on the same physical server. Proxy requires much less CPU/memory/disk resources comparing to ZABBIX Server.
    2. Yes, all configuration it stored on ZABBIX Server side. Proxies are smart enough to sync configuration with the server automatically.
