Zabbix 1.6 Alerts - no recovery message

I am unable to get zabbix 1.6 to send recovery messages, even though it is configured. The default message has "Problem:" in the subject and body. The recovery message has "Recovery:" in the subject and body. However, all recovery alerts have "Problem:" in the subject and body, indicating it is using the default message even when I have 'Recovery Message' clicked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have confirmed the same issue. When "Enable Recovery" is checked it still sends the first message and not the recovery one.

EDIT: I read more and educated my self ... Issue resolved.

Note: There should be some blurb about this in manual to correct confusion on conditions.

Here is what I have configured. This action covers all triggers in my zabbix server.

Note that one of the "Recovery" messages has a trigger value of ON. I also seem to get multiple notices for the recovery with mixed results. I only get the 3 recovery messages after the recovery of the trigger.

            Hi

you are lucky: I got 22 "OK" messages

            But now I solved it.

            Most important seem to be
            1. Select Default message in the Edit operation box on the right
            2. Specify Trigger value = "PROBLEM" in addition to the normal Action conditions you would have used in 1.4.x

This worked for me as expected: one "Problem" message in case of an alarm,
"OK" message in case of recovery.

            HTH,

            Norbert.
