    Zabbix 1.6 BufferSend/Size

    Hi,

i've migrate the zabbix server 1.4.2 to 1.6.

Now i'm updating the agents on the systems i have and i'm wondering about the new configuration items BufferSend and BufferSize.

In the Manual there is no information how i have to configure the values of these both items.

    Can anybody help me? ...

PS: Does anyone needs the compiled version 1.6 of the solaris (8,9,10) agent?

I am also interesting in using this.
Will this be of some use decreasing tcp connection creation when using default agent mode?
I see default config is BufferSize=100 and BufferSend=5
      What settings would be best?
What purpose does BufferSend has, is it ms bettween sends?
Our it specialist teached me that with using default configuration which comes with zabbix sources a connection is made up every 500ms.
So would increasing the buffer size help with this?
