I haven't found a way in 1.6 to view the most recent events regardless of day. Is there a way to disable the date filter or just view the most recent events? I don't care if the event happened before an arbitrary 24-hour barrier, and it's impractical and annoying to have to click forward and back to see the recent events to look for patterns.
For example, this morning I came in to find a couple unreachable servers on the overview and clicked on them to see the events. The event lists were empty, which was disconcerting at first. As it turns out, they happened shortly before midnight, so I had to click back a day to see them.
When I click on a trigger in the overview and go to the list of recent events, I want to see the 20 or so most recent events, and not have to go searching back for days to find them. It's hard to see patterns when you can only look at one day at a time. It's nice to have a date filter as an option, but forcing events to be viewed in increments no longer than 24 hours is crippling.
Am I missing something ovbious?
