    Monitor "WMI" W/O Agent?

I would like to monitor Windows Servers, but I do not want to install the agent on these machines. At this time, these machines are monitored with "OpManager", which I cant stand!!!

I would like to monitor Disk Space, Interfaces.. I was thinking that I might be able to use "WMIC" on my Zabbix (Linux) server. But now sure how to setup shelling out to "WMIC" and returning the results to Zabbix..

    Thank you,

You will need something for disk, memory, etc.

Without an agent you will need to use SNMP but unlike in *nux or other devices, Windows have limitations to report WMI by SNMP. You will need to install either the free version of SNMP Informant (the defacto SNMP agent for Windows) or use Zabbix agent.

If you do not need filesystem monitoring, memory and CPU then you can use just SNMP without installing anything.
