Notify on ACK

Hi Forum!


I would like to notify someone if a trigger is acknowledged.
As far as I see it's not possible at the moment - or am I wrong?


It would be a nice feature:

- Server goes down
- Notify admin and the big boss
- admin acknowledges the problem within 30 minutes
- notify the big boss that someone is dealing with the problem

Yes it looks like this cannot be done, however there is a "workaround" solution perhaps.

You can setup a step at say t+45min which will send a notification message to the boss if the trigger has been acknowledged. I did something similar recently where I would send a reminder message after 24 hours if the trigger was still on and acknowledged. The problem with this if the trigger is acknowledged at t+46min the notification will not be sent.
