Zabbix - Different user accounts, different map views?

    Hi,
First off, i've just installed Zabbix for the first time (version 1.6) and i'd like to say how great it is. Sadly i haven't managed to get auto snmp detect working, but it works manually so i can get round that and mess with it later.

My forum post is actually to ask this question:

Different user accounts for Zabbix can be created (Defaults are 'Admin' and 'Guest'). I've been creating network maps (and maps within maps) and wondered if i can allow certain users to see certain maps - from the main master map, without me having to re-draw these over and over again?

    Regards

No need to re-draw anything. If a user has read permission to all elements (hosts in most cases) of a map, the map will be available to the user.

      so just to clarify

I can have different users (user a, user b) and if i have a main master map with sites a, b and c on it...i can restrict user a to only see site a, but i can allow user b to see all three sites?

Just so i get it straight in my head.

      Many thanks for replying.

      Regards

      Mr Mat

        Also...

Sorry to sound dumb, but i've read the guide and forum posts and people discuss map permissions, but i can't find this section?

        Regards

        Mat
