Do a snmpwalk on the host and find any OIDs you want to monitor, then add them as items in Zabbix for the host.

Add snmp host
Host = the device you want to monitor
Item = the metrics you want to monitor on the host
Yes, you need to add a host first, then add items to the host.
On the wiki you will find an snmp tutorial here -->
http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/doku.php?id=contrib:snmp
If you are new to snmp there is a tutorial here -->
http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/wiki....php/Tutorials
Good luck
MrKen
