Working GSM modems?

Hello!
I have question about Zabbix + GSM modem (SMS sending).
Is it enough, just connect supported GSM modem (for example, Teltonika ModemCOM/G10) and set up parameters, mentioned in Zabbix manual? Or is some user script/action needed?

Is there someone else need to know before?

Sorry for simple question, but I'm not Linux expert and don't want to waste 100 EUR for modem

Just setup your modem by minicom or hyper Terminal... and follow Zabbix documentation.

I have a Digicom Pocket GSM and it works fine.
