Different Community strings for templates

Hi,

In Items
I noticed template snmp and all its containing items the community string by default is set to public.

what if you i have multiple site with different community strings

is there a way to clone the template snmp with its items and change all the items Community strings at once, so that i could have multiple community string for difference host or sites.

or do i have to re-create a template then re-create an item like the ones in the SNMP templates and assign the given community string. this seems like a very long and difficult process.

am i missing something here or is this how you would change the community string for each item (individually)

never mind figured it out

Select all items then copy to -> (my template)

select all then mass update -> community string
