Zabbix 1.6 mail notification failure

Hello,

I've installed Zabbix 1.6. Configured several hosts and email notification (the same way as in 1.4). The problem is that no mails are sent. In zabbix_server.log i acn see the next:

32205:20081103:095811 Query failed: [insert into alerts (alertid, actionid,triggerid,userid,clock,mediatypeid,sendto ,subject,message,status,retries) values (4728,4,14075,1,1225699091,1,'[email protected] m','Too many processes on testdomain.com: ON','Too many processes on testdomain.com: ON',0,0)] Unknown column 'triggerid' in 'field list' [1054]

I wonder if this cann affect the message sending?

Who can help in this sittuation?

Are you sure you're running zabbix 1.6 and not some older 1.4.x binaries ?

Zabbix 1.6 indeed removed the 'triggerid' columns in 'alerts' (patch.sql):

"alter table alerts drop triggerid;"

Thanks for an advice. I've recheked the zabbix_server version and found out that my startup script was using a 1.4 version binary. After starting a correct one everything works.
