Distributed Monitoring: Unable to select configuration

I have 2 nodes (N1) and (N2). I have followed the instructions in section 14 of the Zabbix Manual to configure these systems.

N1 is the master and I can view the information on N2 from the web interface. However, when I try to view N1 from N2 I get the error: "Unable to select Configuration"

Could anyone provide a hint at what I should look at to further troubleshoot this issue?

    Thanks.

Try selection the configuration the other way around (from N2 to N1).
The error you receive is usually gotten when you try to access a master through a slave.

I'm having a similar problem but after running through the distributed monitoring setup, when I hit the zabbix frontend login page, I get "Unable to select configuration."

I set nodeID=1. Made sure the zabbix services where not running and ran the conversion.

Not sure what to do at this point.
