Media "When Active" not effective

I have some media configured under my account that are not active at night. It looks like this:

Email - [email protected] - 1-7,00:00-02:59; - NIWAHD - Enabled
Email - [email protected] - 1-7,10:00-23:59; - NIWAHD - Enabled

However, I still get notifications during the time period not listed (03:00 - 09:59). Am I missing something? Did I set these up incorrectly?

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Also, what is the relationship between the Actions Configuration and this media configuration. My Actions Configuration is setup to sent me all triggers >= Warning, but I still get Average Notifications some times. Is this forcing the messages to be sent even though it's not active as set above? Do I need an Actions Configuration at all?

I can't believe this was never answered and this is as old as it is. I'm using 2.0 and have this issue. I want to limit actions to a specific time period for a certain user but "when active" doesn't work. Any solutions?

It turns out the the media "when active" uses the mysql time which comes from the system time and not the time zone set in php.ini. So once I set my time zone correctly on the server and restarted mysql, everything started working fine.
