Map Scripts and Remote devices

I noticed when click on a devices on the map to run one of the map scripts (ping / traceroute, etc)

it works for everything locally to the zabbix www server (same network) but nothing across through the proxy and other site devices

is there away to have the proxy run the command and present the results to the server from the zabbix servers map interface?

Did you ever figure out how to do this? I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.
