Almost all firewalls/routers support SNMP, so I will suggest that you use that for monitoring.
There aren't any template made for any Zyxel devices, as you can see in the template section of the wiki: http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/doku.php?...trib:templates
But you could make your own, and then post it to the wiki in order to help other people in the same situation like you. There is a guide for how to do that here: http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/doku.php?id=contrib:snmp
