Graph "Change" values and not Last Value

In some cases graphing the last value makes no sense as it a summary number (often happens in snmp cases, counters).

In RRD Graphs you have special collectors and graphs that don't use the last value, but the difference, or in Zabbix "Change" value.

Is there a way to graph not the last value, but the change value? Without this the interrupts column is useless to graph ...

okay, I found this out myself. It has do be stored in a different data type at the items level. then it works.
