Does someone know how to monitor the Zabbix server itself from another remote check monitoring system. Besides doing a web check on the interface from another server is there some other way. I thought better of a port I can remotely check. This is via network checks.
I currently configured a network check on mysql and to look a string on the web interface. Suppose thats ok but wondering if Zabbix server uses some port to do it. Besides the default where it listens for the agents.
Will use pingdom for it.
