Is it somehow possible to make server connect to proxy and send it configuration/request data. If not - I think it'll be a valuable option, for this will allow installing proxies behind carp without much fuss.

You already may install proxies or Zabbix server behind carp. Just take advantage of a virtual IP address. -
It's just a bit inconvinient that I can't have 2 proxies running at the same time - they will try to connect to server and both will send it's data so I'll propably get a duplicate key in history sooner or later(even thow I have only active checks - both proxies will continue pinging).
On second thoughts some scripting will still be required anyway and haveing 2 proxies running at the same time is not a good design =)Comment
