    Auto-Discovery. Add host on port other than 10050

    Hello.
    I have small problem and just can't find sollution. I've created auto discovery rule to find certain type of managed switches via sntp. Discovery works lika a charm.
    Then I add an action.
    Two conditions:
    Discovery status = "Up"
    Received value like "SRW2008"

    Three action operations:
    Add host
    Add to group "Switches"
    Link to template "SRW2008"

    This works well too. With one exception. Hosts (switches) are automatically added on port 10050 while I need add them on port 161.

    How and where should I change discovery/action rule to add host automatically on port other than 10050 ??

      port for snmp defined in Settings -> items -> your item from Template -> SNMP port: 161

      and see table settings 'hosts' port -> default Value: 10050

        I've never seen "Settings" option in Zabbix in my life...

            Ok. Now I know what you mean...

            Unfortunatelly I already had port 161 set in all my templates. I think this setting has not much (if anything) to do with "port" in Configuration/Hosts. Please, check it for yourself - You can set port in Configuration/Hosts to any number and it's not related to ports in linked template (choosed under "Link with Template").

                  It doesn't work. Maybe it's a bug? My template is now updated, and it's header looks like that:
                  Code:
                  <zabbix_export version="1.0" date="06.11.08" time="15.57">
                          <hosts>
                                  <host name="SRW2008">
                                          <useip>0</useip>
                                          <dns></dns>
                                          <ip></ip>
                                          <port>161</port>
                                          <status>3</status>
                                          <groups>
                                          <group>Templates</group>
                                          </groups>
                                          <items>
                  [...]
                  But new hosts stil has 10050 in port number...

                    weird, I just built a template and tryed. wouldn't accept the port change either. I've been able to manipulate all the settings with the xml template and don't know why that one won't take.

                    sorry, my 2 cents wasn't worth much...
