Time/Event based severity escalations?

Does Zabbix support time or event based severity escalations? Meaning a trigger goes off... starts at information goes through Warning.. Average...High... Disaster... if no one Acknowledges or indeed if no one fixes it in time?

For events do I have to create 3 or more separate triggers? Example being disk space is > 90% = warning, 95% = High, 99% = Disaster? Or is there a automated way to do this with one trigger?

No, there is no way to configure this currently. The feature is nice to have, yet I do not see how it can be designed and implemented so that it is clear and easy to use.
