    database structure

    Hi All,

I'm looking for the database structure of the zabbix database.

My goal is to identify all tables containing configuration files. This way I can copy the configuration from 1 zabbix instance to another and leaving the data untouched.

Can anyone help me with this?

    Thx!

Please try to search the forums first, I'm sure that this has been answered before.

It has been answered in the forums. I believe it was the 1.0 documentation that had a table layout.

As for copying your data, the simplest method would be to copy all tables except for the history tables. Some of the other tables such as service_alarms, housekeeper, node_cksum, trends*, acknowledges and events you can likely get away with copying on the schema. Since the 1.0 version there have been many new tables along with other modifications to the schema.

      Hope this helps a little.
