Bug? Emails not sent to 'Zabbix User' accounts in 1.6.2

Upgraded to 1.6.2 from 1.4.6, now I do not receive emails any longer.
I´ve put the the user in question into the super admin group, and still note reciving emails.
when I go to the menu Monitoring >> Events, does not appear any information in column Actions.

My environment:
CentOS release 5.2 (Final)

Email Anyway

Just put the responsible groups' email group addresses into ZABBIX AS "superadmin" users, but don't give out those account's passwords. That way, you can control email permissions separately, and as staff come and go, the email groups get updated by the email admin. You then no longer have to maintain the email end of it.

My problem got solved.
Turned out I was still running server 1.4.6 binaries after my upgrade. Started 1.6.2 binaries and notification problem was solved.
