WEB monitoring

I am new to zabbix program and I have a number of questions that I couldn't
answer just by reading the manual.
I want to control a number of variables on the web page. Can this be
achieved by zabbix means? If yes, than in which way?

Currently Zabbix does not support parsing and retrieval of any information out of HTML content. This is one of the features we would like to see in future releases.
