    Action not firing

I have created a simple ICMP Ping trigger to monitor my servers that do not have an agent installed. I setup an action to go with this trigger to email me when the trigger fires. When a host goes down I see the trigger change to "PROBLEM" but the action never fires. I have tried a very specific set of conditions for the action as well as a very generic and the trigger never seems to set off the action. Screenshots of my setup are attached. I have configured SMTP and created a user with email enabled. No actions show up in the audio log. I have test sending an email from the server via telnet with success.

Is it possible that when selecting the trigger for the action to fire against that you've selected a trigger that is associated with the wrong host? I know I've done that a few times and it caused me much grief.

Well I have created a few more actions with varying conditions in hopes of finding a combination that would set off the action. I have tried something as simple as just a "High" severity and even that doesn't trigger the action.

Does this user have at least RO rights on the host you are expecting trigger messages from?
        It's a requirement since 1.6.2
