How do I check services with zabbix?

I've downloaded the mysql template, added it to an windows that has mysql agent but I get a "not supported by ZABBIX agent" in the error list.

Edit: seems like I have to extend the agent, do I have to do this for every new service/item I want to monitor? Is there an easier way of doing this?

Unfortunately there isn't an easier way to accomplish this.

In that case, how do I extend the agents in windows? I understand how to do it in Linux, but now in Windows.

Edit: found something, I'm looking into it now:

Edit: I've managed to get it to work. I can retrieve information from a windows client, my question now is if it is somehow possible to show the userparameters I've added in the zabbix_agentd.conf file in the frontend? Or do I have to look at the conf file every time I want to see the things I'm checking?

Unfortunately this is another limitation. It's a shortcoming that's bit me more than once. :-)

Create yet another userparameter that reads zabbix_agentd.conf to return lines starting with 'UserParameter' ?

LOL!!! That's awesome! A definite ode to Rube Goldberg.
