I have no clue how to configure it. I would like to use Zabbix for communicating through SNMP with my switches, retrieve bandwidth info per port, and save this in the mysql database.
Our own separate system will then use the data from zabbix to integrate the graphs (or draw it's own graphs, if this is too hard).
The network consists of coreswitches, switches and a bunch of servers. Monitoring a few Xen VM's would be a nice thing too (especially the bandwidth).
If there is anyone who is using Zabbix the same way, please let me know! I would be willing to invest in this to go for the right "RTG-like" system with some monitoring.
Has anyone successfully integrated the graphs in his own noc system? Any screenshots or tips are appreciated!
