    Zabbix agent on windows 2008 Server CORE

    Anyone using Zabbix agent on windows 2008 Server CORE ???

      I am not (yet) but I dont see any reason it wont run. There isnt a GUI - its a service written in C so all the required software is already there for you. I do run the agent on Win 2008 without any issues.

      If you try it out let us know.

          Hi, I have the same problem as you.
          The Zabbix-server can't connect Hyper-V Hosts under Windows 2008 Core Edition.

          As I installed the Agent I didn't had any error messages and I see the process running.
          The firewall is already disabled just to test the connection.

          Did someone succeeded to install the Zabbix Agent on a Hyper-V Host?
