Auto-Registration in 1.6

I was looking around in the manual and I noticed that there is a way to have the clients "auto-register" themselves with the Zabbix server; however, the method is not discussed at all in the manual. I did a bit of searching in the forums and found conflicting information. I found some that mention that auto-registration is not in 1.6, and others stating that it was supported in 1.6 ....

Does anyone know for sure? Also, could someone explain how to use it if it is supported. It looks like it might be what I need as Discovery uses IP addresses to add hosts and mine are all dynamic.

The functionality will be added at some point. It was planned for 1.6.x, most likely will be implemented in 1.8.
