Alert on ACK

Hello All,

We are using Zabbix 1.6.2 and would like to know how I can configure escalations action operations, to repeatedly check an action operations condition whether anyone do an ACK comment, check it every 30 minutes and alert users if anyone do ACK comment on a trigger event. I am very confused how the repeated action operations can be done in escalations. I have created a rule like :

Action Condition :

Trigger value = "PROBLEM"
Time period in "1-7,00:00-23:59"

Action Operations:

Step

From : 2
To : 2
Period : 60 (for testing)

Operation Type : send message

Conditions
(A) Event acknowledged = "Ack"

I think this action rule just check only once in the first minute(like "At Moment" delay). I know this is a configuration problem, do we need multiple Action Operations to do repeated checking of these conditions? Is my action rule above is correct to send alert for ACK comment update for a trigger? Please help me.

I, too, would be interested in knowing if this is correct. I've been trying to set up alerts on Ack for a while with no luck. Manual isn't much help at all.

BUT I don't know if it will do what you want. Acknowledgments seem a bit underdeveloped in Zabbix at the moment. Kinda just "tacked on" so to speak. They would be a great tool if they had some more integrated features, but they seem to be mostly for Dashboard use. Though, there maybe more features that are just "hidden".
