Hello,
Does the syntax of the zabbix_agentd.conf allow me to specify the subnet where the zabbix server lives instead of a specific IP/hostname?
Along the same lines, the file says that reverse must line up with the forward lookup, this means I can't use a cname. That just seems weird. I would prefer to put a cname rather than the hostname because the hostname will change as we upgrade, move stuff around, etc but the cname (monitoring.domain.local) will always be the same.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Terry
