    Automatic import

Is there any way to import hosts without using web-interface (e.q. from server command line)?

    Thank you.

I don't see a script or program that is distributed but I am sure you could get creative and write a script to throw it in the database yourself. Check the hosts table and hosts_templates table. I am not sure where the link occurs but it might be that hosts_templates table.

I have seen rumors and wish lists about an API so perhaps that's coming in 1.8?

Thank's! I afraid database tables relations (between hosts, templates, items etc) are too complicated for me.

But I have no choice -I have to try.
