Delayed triggers ?

Hello.

I'm trying to use a delayed trigger to monitor the CPU Load of our servers.
The documentation give an example I modified to reach our goals.

Here is my trigger:

{Template_ONP_LinuxBase:system.cpu.load[,avg1].min(300)}>5

The problem is that the trigger is activated as soon as the CPU load is above 5.


Could you please help me ?

Increase your "avg#". I had the same issue with mine. You don't want to know when it spikes, just when it is consistently over 5, right? I just changed the "avg1" to "avg15". You can use avg1, avg5, or avg15. I think that equates to the average load of one, five, and fifteen minutes.
