Erase the record of the items, quickly

As you can erase the history of the items so quickly, because if I do it from the items tab, check the box and button "clear history selected items" takes a long time.
There any other way faster?

i'm not sure i understood the question correctly, but clearing history for items that have many history & trends entries will be quite resources intensive - it has to remove many records from the database. as far as i know, there's no way to speed that notably up.

Rich is right, this is a very DB intensive operation and would be very difficult to speed up.
