Historical Reports Extraction

Hi all, i am a newbie to zabbix. I have set up and populated it with a lot of hosts. My biggest problem is how to extract historical reports for a particular host. e.g. Extract perfomance data for unix/windows within the last one month and export it to excel format. Do u need extra custom templates for report extraction?

Use mysql query brower or phpmyadmin (or any equivalent software for you RDBMS) and run a few queries against your DB (history_* tables) ?

Or you can go to Monitoring > Latest Data, then choose whatever item you want and display values as ... values (instead of Graph). In plain text you can then quite easily copy/paste to Excel.
