    ZABBIX Agent Not Working

I followed the tutorial below and was able to install ZABBIX server and it works fine.

It was monitoring but when I installed ZABBIX agent on a different server, it doesn't monitor at all. Any help?

    Thanks!

    More Information

    Hi,

We need more information in order to help you. Try posting details of your environment (server's os, client os, zabbix version etc).

Also, look at your log file (server and client). Post a small piece of it on the forum. Also, try to increase the information level in order to collect more information.

I never saw this error before, but, seems to be clear:

        Code:
[Seattle Zabbix Server:agent.ping] error: Get value from agent failed: Cannot connect to [125.5.114.151:10050] [No route to host]
Is 125.5.114.151 the host IP? Are you able to ping it from the server console? Does your network has any firewall that could be blocking ports 10050 and 10051?

Also, try to do a telnet to the host on port 10050 in order to see if you can reach it.

the host is 125.5.114.150 which is the zabbix server too. no firewall at all.

          server
          [root@***** ~]# telnet 10050
          Trying 0.0.39.66...
telnet: connect to address 0.0.39.66: Invalid argument

i can ping both servers vice versa.

          agent
          root@***** [/***/***]# telnet 10050
          Trying 0.0.39.66...
telnet: connect to address 0.0.39.66: Invalid argument
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Invalid argument
