    Change OID snmp

Prompt me, please, whether there is possibility in Zabbix to do the template of the following kind:
    1. To create a template
    2. Element of data (Items) for snmp
    3. To connect trigger.

Now problem, I must for different devices in OID of element of data change the number of port (a parameter is taken off one and òîòæå, but ports about 1000 DSLAM), how to do so, that not to create the great number of elements of data and triggers, but use only one?

Creating a new host and attaching to it a template it is not succeeded to change a value OID.

I am sorry for my English.

I don't have any experience with OpenVMS but I think that you could at least:
    1. Use Zabbix "simple checks "
    2. Check if you can activate SNMP agent on OpenVMS. According to HP documentation, it should be possible.

    Hope this helps

i'm not sure i understood the question, but if port descriptions are held in a separate index, maybe dynamic snmp indexes is what you want - see zabbix manual for more information

Prompt me, please, as correct to avail dynamic snmp indexes for interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifOperStatus.201353152, number of port of device 201353152.
