    Templates

    Hi,
    Anyone knows the use of the next fields on the templates?:

    <lastlogsize>0</lastlogsize>
    <logtimefmt></logtimefmt>
    <delay_flex></delay_flex>

    <formula>1</formula>
    Does it activate the field multiplier?

      It would be more useful to anyone trying to help if you gave more information.

      A subject line of 'Templates' and some code from 'a template', isn't very helpful to anyone.

      What Template?

      If possible, change the subject line to something more meaningful.

          You reply is surprising. Instead of be helpful, you loose you energy in arguing about the subject of my post. You know until know I thought that there were only one kind of templates in zabbix. Sorry if for you wasn't clear but my english is not the best and I tried to be as clear as I could. It's pity you attitude. Nobody ordered you to answer my post.

              There's nothing wrong with my attitude. Quite the contrary, it seems.

              I answer forum posts to try to help as many people as possible. If you don't want help, then don't ask for it.

              Now, on a Positive note:
              Yes, there are numerous templates in zabbix, so if you tell people which template you are referring to, then someone will offer you the assistance that you need.

                  If I right understand, what xillao is speaking about is generic template model, in xml file.

                  I think he wants to know what is the goal of the following fields :
                  <lastlogsize>0</lastlogsize>
                  <logtimefmt></logtimefmt>
                  <delay_flex></delay_flex>
                  <formula>1</formula>
                  in the xml file representing a template.

                  Am I right xillao ?

                  According to me, where MrKen is right is you just could try to make a subject a bit more precise for people trying to help, for example : "What the use of these fields in xml template file ?" instead of "Template" would I think be better.
                  My english is not the best in the world, and I know if I want to help and be helped, I have to try to be as clear as possible, and as precise as possible.

                  In this example, MrKen comes to help you, but he doesn't understand what you're looking for.
