How to execute remote commands on Windows XP?

    Hi All,

I have installed Zabbix 1.6.4 server (Linux) and 1.6.4 client on Windows XP SP3.
The configurations on both machines and monitoring with Template Windows are ok for client host (Enableremotecommand=1, etc).
    When i send:
    zabbix-get -s clientIP -ksystem.run["c:\test.vbs",nowait]

    I view in clientIP log:
    1468:20090710:113039 Requested [system.run[c:\test.vbs,nowait]]
    1468:20090710:113039 Run command 'c:\test.vbs'
    1360:20090710:113039 Processing request.
    1360:20090710:113039 In check_security()
    1468:20090710:113039 Execute command 'cmd /C "c:\test.vbs"'
But no ANY action is executed. (test.vbs or notepad.exe or any windows application).
Obs.: test.vbs is a simple "hello world".

    Any idea?
    Firewall and Antivirus is disabled.

    Thanks in advance.
    My English is poor... excuse-me.

    Hi,

try with : zabbix-get -s clientIP -ksystem.run["c:\test.vbs"] ( forget about the NoWait, since this will fork and not wait for a answer!

        The prompt stop and return:
"zabbix_get [28842]: Timeout while executing operation."

Maybe u should increase timeout value in your zabbix_agentd.conf ( Timeout=5 or so!)
            or even Timeout value in zabbix_serverd.conf ( Timeout=15 )
