Hello everyone,
I have the following scenario: I monitor a remote location using zabbix proxy - this location has a high number of servers and items, however the connection to the zabbix server is slow and goes down very often. Sometimes when the connection to server is lost, the proxy DB grows as large as 500MB, and when the connection to server is restored it takes days, sometimes, even weeks, to synchronize all information to the server again.
My question is, is there a (safe/practical) way to manually transfer the proxy database from this remote location when the conection is down for too long and them import it manually to the main Zabbix server DB?
I have SQLite running at the Proxy side and MySQL at the Server Side.
A related question would be about the Proxy Agent performance. I have about 300kbps bandwidth between proxy and server hosts, but even when proxy has a lot of information to synchronize to the server, it hardly uses more than 30kbps. Is this expected? Is there a way to speed up this process?
Thanks in advance
