zabbix server

Hello everybody ,
I'am in a training period, they give me as a subject :installation of zabbix and how does it work ? ,I setup up zabbix.First the problem that I have is in dashbord of monitoring :I have zabbix server is running : No ; when I open zabbix-server.log , the value changes from NO to yes ,but the availibility of zabbix server is unknown all the time .Second , I don't know how to work with zabbix, help me please ,I really need your help and thanks so much for you time .(sorry for disturbing).

Do you have an agent running on your server?

The manual is not too bad for getting going, but it does take a little bit to get your head around it all.

I have zabbix server is running : No

This might be caused by security configuration. E.g. in default RHEL setup selinux rules does not allows httpd to watch full process listing.

Next, read the documentation and ask concrete questions if you'd misunderstood something.
