Hello guys,
I'm checking some hosts simply by using pingcheck. This works fine for checking IPv4 hosts. But using pingcheck on IPv6 hosts fails.
I'm running Zabbix 1.6.4 on Debian Lenny. fping is installed.
The Zabbix-server, ofcourse, has a IPv4 address as well as a IPv6 address.
I've put the hosts on a map an created a script like ping vor ping6. This works fine, so the IPv6-hosts are in fact alive and reachable.
What can I do to have pingcheck working on the IPv6 addresses as well.
Thanks in advance,
John
