    Zabbix proxy over SSH?

    Is anyone using Zabbix Proxy over SSH port forwarding?

    Does it work well?

    How do you define the proxy in the zabbix GUI?
    (I'm trying aliasing the name I want for the proxy as "localhost" in /etc/hosts)

    never tried the ssh pf with a proxy...

    the proxy is defined in hosts -> proxies
    u then enter the name of the proxy, which should be also configured in the conf file of the proxy server (Hostname).
