Enable disabled items

I am trying to enable a disabled item under Template_Linux.
I disabled several unused items and now it turns out I need to re-enable the proc_num[zabbix_server] item
When I go into items and select template_linux it only shows me enabled items.
When I go to advanced Filter and search for status disabled I see NO items.
When I try to manually add the item I'm told it already exists.

I'm running Zabbix 1.6.3. in a distributed node layout. I disabled the item on the subnode and need to monitor the master node zabbix server host from the sub node. Master's linux template has the proper item but because I need to monitor from the sub node the sub node's linux template needs the item. Just need a way to re enable it. How would I go about this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Chris,

did you selected "show disabled items" when editing your template? Because if the items are hidden you cannot activate them.

Wow. Amazingly... I didn't see that.
I was looking for a check box. Kind of blended in with the background.

That did the trick.
