Web Scenario Authentication

Hello All,

Been working with Zabbix for the last month and I've completly switched my monitoring over from Nagios...

I have a Mythtv Web page that I wish to monitor, but am having issues with the Zabbix Web Scenario Authentication. I've used the http://{user}:{passwd}@<IP_Address>/mythweb line (along with the macros), but I get a "Digest: client used wrong authentication scheme `Basic': /mythweb/" message in the Apache log. I use the htpasswd schema to require username/password... What am I missing to send the username/password using the proper authentication method?

i believe http authentication is supported in trunk only

yes, 1.7.3 has this feature and you are welcome to test it - and all other things with the version as well

How do we use this feature? I'm still having the "client used wrong authentication scheme `Basic'" error message with Zabbix 1.8.1...

I don't see anything detailed in the zabbix documentation on how to use the http_auth stuff...
