zabbix monitor bandwidth

Hi all

A customer asked how much bandwidth zabbix's monitoring takes up. They have a certain amount of bandwidth and they have to run all network communication from the region to the head-office through it.

Any ideas on how i can calculate. I know it depends on the amount of queries per second, but if i can give them a rough estimation that would be great. Or the bandwidth for, for example, the linux or aix template.

You should just tcpdump on the wireshark server and monitor it for a typical hour to answer this question.

Give a look at pmacct, it should solve the problem and it can be monitored through snmp
