Trigger on item of type Log

I have a log item which monitors our apache error log for the "Fatal" string.

Does anyone know the trigger condition I would use to send an alert if there were new log entries read from the client?

All the conditional I see seem to use "Values" which is not valid for the Log item.

Running on 1.6.5
